Finally!

Man Utd have finally started to get more goals in a game! I hope they'll continue to produce more goals in the upcoming games. They'll face a tough game against Villa in 2 weeks time. Villa have been playing some good football this season. I just hope the international break doesn't interrupt MU's current form.

Anyway, as promised.. more photos! Since MU did so well, I shall start with the MU match I watched in Edinburgh :p

Friendly match between MU and Dunfermline FC. That's Hargreaves in jersey No 9.

Giggs! Giggs! Giggs! ^_^

That's Rooney, as he prepares to take the spot kick.

And yes... we were damn lucky 'cos we got tickets that were 3rd row from the pitch! Muaahahahahhaaha

And then, there was the birthday party my colleagues organized...

Notice the red wine bottle on the right?? *faints*

They were so nice. They din know wat kinda cakes I like, so they bought 2 different types; 1 chocolate and another cheesecake ^_^

Resuscitated and Revived~

It's good to be back. It seemed like ages~! But I'm glad it's all over, though I wasn't entirely happy with my last paper. Not that I can do anything about it now... oh well...

Went to Pyramid right after my last paper with Michelle, Lean Shin and William. Was supposed to go skating but then it closed when we arrive there after dinner. So, we opted to bowl instead. I still have yet to bowl properly. First game I scored the lowest and the 2nd game... if Michelle wasn't unlucky, I would've ended up as the poorest scorer again. Hmmm... maybe I should ask the management to give me handicap as well, the next time around. The kids on the next lane had those bars lifted up from the "longkang" so their bowl doesn't masuk longkang at all but bounces off it. It was really hillarious seeing them play. We're talking about kids at about 7-8 yrs of age? Simply cute... :)

After bowling we went to catch Rob B-Hood. I never fancy chinese movies much but then this one is SUPER FUNNY~ Would recommend it to you guys. The baby's SO CUTE~! We were practically laughing our hearts out throughout the entire show, except towards the ending. You guys watch la. Wouldn't wanna this to be any spoiler :p

Show ended about 1130. Reached campus slightly after midnight. Went to bed and woke up early the next day to attend the Server class. After class, went back to the room (I'm alone in the room, btw) and then went over to cari Michelle and off we went to Putrajaya. Picked Lean Shin and William from the ERL station and headed off to a mamak area to makan dinner and also catch Man Utd vs Wigan match. It has been some time since I last watch a match. Thank goodness Man Utd won~! Their 2nd half display was superb... all thanks to Giggs ^_^ Rooney at least played MUCH better than the previous games. It was a good game and obviously I'm happy la :D

Later, joined Lean Shin, William, Aaron and Michelle to Pyramid again for skating. My very first skating experience. And I was rather happy I didn't fall as often as I expected to. Fell twice and the 2nd time I landed flat on my butt *ouch* Initially, Michelle taught me to skate then another guy, Amirul taught. There was this once I bumped into Michelle whilst trying to skate and it was hillarious. I was pulling her and holding on to whatever I could reach out for like my life depended on it. Thankfully she didn't fall and I didn't fall. Would've been rather embarassing if I caused her to fall :p Took a couple of pics during the outing. Will post it up once I get hold of a copy of them.

Skated for about slightly over and hour then off we went for supper at Asia Cafe opposite Taylor's College. After that, balik room.. packed a bit and went over to Michelle's room to put a night there with Lean Shin as well. Didn't get to sleep much though, 'cos of the stewpig mosquitoes. Seriously, mosquitoes and cockroaches should be extinct~! Ppl wanna sleep and they mengacau. Pests~!

Anyways, Server class just ended and now I wanna balik Klang d. Home sweet home~!!!!!! ^_^

Hectic Holiday part II

Where was I?? Oh yesss.. Lake District. We spent two nights there. On the 3rd day, drove up to Edinburgh, Scotland. The city's beautiful. Real gothic and ancient looking buildings. But the people there were kinda... weird. Most of them had tattoos on them. Some had weird hairdos. There was even this man with ring piercings all over his body. When I say all over, I mean ALL OVER... every single inch of him (I think :p) At first I didnt' notice him. My sis initially thought he was a statue... until he moved. Too bad we had to catch up with Dad and he was the one having the camera. So yeah...we didn't manage to get a shot of him.

Spent a night there. Next morning, we went up north again to St Andrews.. the birthplace of golf (apparently) since Mum and Dad love golf. But the journey there was nice. Scenic.

Mum and Dad went around the place. While they were walking around, my sis and I decided to sit around the beach and read our book. After some time, we headed back into the car instead 'cos the bench wasn't that comfy and I fell asleep.

Drove down to Manchester that evening. Checked in kinda late so, Old Trafford had to wait :p Come morning, we took a train down there. It was a day after the England vs Jamaica friendly. So the entire place was kinda dirty. There were cans and papers everywhere. Hahaha.. there were even stickers saying "Love United, Hate Glazer" pasted on some road signs and poles. Oh well...

Went in for a tour in Old Trafford. Only Dad and I went in. Mum and Jo aren't footie fans, and it was kinda expensive... so they stayed outside. We were brought in to the trophy room and museum before the tour started.

The only disappointing part is that of all days, of all times, they had to re-soil (if such word exists) the pitch~! I'd thought I get to see the nice pitch.. but no~! All I see was sand. But nevertheless, it's a dream come true :D

I got to see the stand, the ex-press conference room, the home team area, the dressing room, the lounge... basically everything~! :D Really an eye-opener for me :D

Aiyak.. Australia vs Japan's match coming up soon. Wanna go watch. Will update part 3 later on.... hopefully :p

Hectic Holiday part I

I'm back~! Yes, I have been MIA for a VERY long time. Was away in UK for about 10 days. Came back last Thursday night. On Saturday, went over to Malacca to send my sis to MMU for the orientation week. Man, I bet my sis has loads to say about the orientation. MMU has this non-ragging-orientation policy. So, you can guess that the entire orientation week will be quite a bore. Not that I am a ragging fan... in fact, I support that it's non-ragging. But then, the people there are seriously lame. I'll leave the story to my sis to elaborate la. You'll hear all about it in her blog once she gets internet connection there (i think).

Oh.. and my sis doesn't have a roommate. Means she has the entire room to herself. Bad thing is... I personally think it's quite scary to sleep in a room that is dimly litted. Her roommate did not appear. I think she didn't even register. Perhaps she received an offer somewhere else. Hopefully the hostel unit will get her another roommate a.s.a.p. But in the meantime, she'll have to sleep alone.

Okay, so some of you may ask why is it that I get to stay over at my aunt's place when I was in Malacca but my sis doesn't? Two words: Driving license. She hasn't touched 17 yet. She's yet to take her driving lessons. She has not gotten her driving license. If she were to stay at my aunt's place, she'll have to drive to campus.. which is about 5-10 minutes away. I suppose that's the bad thing for PTS jumpers.

Anyway, back to the UK trip. We didn't take many pics. Most of the time was spent on traveling from one city to another. We touched down in London Heathrow Airport on Monday night. Took the underground tube to Victoria Station. Took us about 1 hour. Then, we walked from the station to our B&B, which is about 10 minutes walk. We had our dinner just outside the station before that. "Watched" an interesting fight there. Didn't really see what happened but two guys started fighting. One was pulling the other guy's hair, the other one was throwing punches. After a few minutes, both stopped and just walked off... treated as if nothing ever happened. Some warm welcome, huh? :p

We didn't go anywhere that night. After 12.5hours of flight, who'd want to? I think we hit the sack about 930pm local time. Next morning, we went around London by foot and tube. Seriously, their underground tube is SO convenient. There's a train every 5 minutes or so. And it's fast. It links to just about anywhere. We went to Westminster on the first morning. Went around Big Ben, the parliament house, 10 Downing Street and Westminster Abbey that day.

We couldn't take photos in the Abbey. Rather big a place. Took us about 2 hours to tour the whole area. All the previous kings and queens were buried there. So were famous people like Shakespeare, Handel, Newton (if you watched Da Vinci Code... Newton's was exactly like the one shown in the movie... but it was out of bounds for us. We could only see it from about 5 feet away?)

The next day, we went to Tower Bridge. Come afternoon, we headed to Buckingham Palace to see the changing of guards. There were LOADS of ppl there. We could only see from afar. Didn't get to see witness the changing of guards, though. But took a few pics outside. We had lunch at St James's Park... which was next to Buckingham Palace. Sorta picnic-ed there. It was nice. Sitting on the grass, enjoying the sandwich, overlooking the lake, cool breeze... something which you'd definitely NOT do in M'sia at that hour. After lunch, we went over to Harrods. There wasn't much to see 'cos the things were super expensive. Walked about 5 minutes in the mall and then walked out.

After that, my sis and I went to Madame Tussaud's while my parents went over to Arsenal. We were supposed to meet back at Picaddily Circus (PC) after 2 hours. But our tour in Madame Tussaud lasted about 1 hour only, so I sms-ed my mum asking if we should wait at PC. No reply. After 10 mins of waiting, we took the tube back to PC, which is about 15 mins walk and train ride from Baker Street (where Madame Tussaud and famous Sherlock Holmes were) and searched. They were nowhere to be seen. Fearing they may have gone back to Baker Street, we took the tube back there. Upon reaching BS, we receive sms from my mum saying they were now waiting at PC. So, we had no choice but to take the tube back to PC. This time, thankfully, they were there.

That's the problem with the network there. It took a good 10 minutes or so before our sms got through. Probably it's because we were underground most of the time too. Oh well, at least we manage to meet up again... after almost an hour of traveling to and from BS and PC.

The next morning, we went to get our hired car. Check it out. The pic below was the car we hired....

NOT~! :p

If we had that kinda money to hire that kinda car for a week, I could afford a Ferrari in M'sia. This is the car we hired...

something like a station wagon. A Vauxhall. According to my dad, it's a local car. They sorta joint venture with Opel... I think.

We traveled to Lake District, North of England. We stayed in a town called Windermere. The place is rather nice, I think. Very country-like. There were lakes, parks, lots and lots of sheeps, cows and horses. We went up a small hill. About 765feet above sea level, if I've not mistaken. Took a couple of pics using my sis's hp. Don't have it with me now. But the view was beautiful. When my sis comes back, I'll upload it here.

We drove around Lake district. Went to Kenswick, Bowness-on-Windermere, Ambleside, and some other towns.. I forgot their names *paiseh*

Ohh.. there's this one place in Kenswick which was rather fun. Take a look at this...

There's no camera hocus-pocus involved. My sis and I just stood there. It's all optical illusion (duh~!) Apparently, it's the same technique they used in filming Lord of the Rings. The room that we were in... at the "giant" side... the roof and the floor is rather near to the camera and the roof was obviously lower. The "dwarf" side... the wall is further back and the ceiling was much higher... cool, huh?

Okay.. I've spent loads of time loading the pics above. Sometimes it'll load. Sometimes it won't. Took me almost 3hours trying and retrying. Need to go for lunch now. Will update again later. More photos to come... including Old Trafford~! :D

Which player are you?

I did this quiz-like thingy the other day for fun. Got it from Man Utd' official website. We're supposed to answer some questions and they'll match it with a Man Utd player's characteristics/personalities. I took the quiz and guess which player I supposedly am??

Coincidence??? :p

Yuzuyu-chan from Aishiteruze Baby

My sister's sketch on one of the characters from Aishiteruze Baby anime. I used to have a sketch of David Beckham and Freddie Prinze Jr back in form3. Was quite proud of it... but now I dunno where I kept it. >_<

Bad bubu

I've been a bad bubu. I forgotten someone's birthday yesterday. So, to make it up...

CORRINE TAN TENG TENG,
HAPPY BELATED
21ST BIRTHDAY~!

I'm getting old... I even sms-ed a birthday greeting to Hui Ting on the wrong day~! And I only realised it a day after I wished her. And I got my lecture schedule wrong 3 times this week already.... >_<

First week of the new sem... and two assignments are uploaded liao. It's good that the lecturer's upload them fast. More time to prepare. First one will be due in about a month's time. The other one will be due in May 'cos we need to build a prototype. So yeah... that about sums up my semester.
