The chronicles of HB3 A3004: The cockroach, the roommate and the lost key

Okay, I'm not original with the title. If I were that creative, I think I would be studying courses like design or animation, wouldn't I? I might even appear in the papers like Gan Siew² and get to show off all my designs. Yeah, you read right. The very person who used to "jeleng jeleng" at me last time was featured in the newspaper recently. I dunno when. In fact, I didn't even know till Shing Lih told me.

Anyway, I'm straying off topic. Back to the title. For non-MMUian readers, HB3 A3004 refers to a room. HB3 is one of the two female hostel blocks, A refers to wing A (there are 3 wings altogether), and 3004 is the room number la. The room I'm currently sharing with May Ling and Shy Jiun.

The cockroach part... I don't have to repeat la. You guys know what happened already. But what you did not know ('cos I haven't blogged for some time) is the event that occured after that. I mentioned that I was to sleep at 6am right? I did sleep at 6am, more or less... but there's a lil twist to it.

This is where "the roommate" comes in. See, at 6am, Shy's alarm went off. I think she had trouble switching the alarm off. After some time, she got off the upper deck of the double decker bed. I turned and looked at her. As she was walking towards me, she kept pointing to my bed. I was obviously curious. Then, I thought, maybe she's telling me there's a cockroach on my bed.

I turned to my bed and looked around. There wasn't anything *thank goodness~!* so I turned back to her. She wasn't standing at the position where I last saw her.... and that got me more blur. It didn't take me long before I found her again.

Guess where I found her? Sleeping on my bed~ I was so tempted to laugh on the spot. I waited awhile. She was fast asleep. So, I took my small lil pillow (the one I use to hug), placed it on my desk and slept. I wanted to sleep on Shy's bed, but then... I was too lazy to climb up and was thinking it would be a hassle for me to switch back to my bed when Shy wakes up.

It was 7++am when Shy woke up. She didn't realize that she slept on my bed. That confirmed it. She's blurer (if that word exists...) than I am :p She woke me up and I almost literally jumped to bed and slept right through till almost noon. We had a good laugh after that :D

So, where does "the lost key" fit in? It was after training and dinner/supper yesterday night when I lost the key. When I came back, Shy and Ling were not in. I realized I left something in the bag (that was in my car). So, I went down, taking only my room key and car keys. See, my room key... it was "detached" from the key chain. Couldn't "attach" it back to the key chain so I just took the "skeleton key" (I think that's how they describe a key without key chain... dunno la. My english not very the good... I think it's obvious). Anyway...

after getting what I left earlier, I went up. Was hunting for my key outside the locked room. Couldn't find it. Retraced the route I went and it was dark, and raining.. couldn't find the key. Checked the staircase, checked the canteen, checked my car, checked the parking lot and nothing. I started to panic.

I didn't bring my handphone out, so I couldn't call Ling or Shy. Went to Jiin and Yin's room. Was SUPER glad they were in. Told them about being locked out. Called Ling and thank goodness Ling was still around Cyberjaya. I think they were supposed to go out of Cyberjaya for yum cha session. Not too sure. Managed to get Ling's key from her and I could finally enter the room.

But my key was still missing. But I couldn't do anything about it. Planned to go hunting again the next morning, when it's bright and shiny. If I still can't find it, then I'll have to report and pay a fine. I'm already broke. To pay a fine for my carelessness is VERY "seong" (in the pocket). *see what I mean by bad english??*

Anyway, the next morning, before my 8am class, I went searching again. I went through all the possible places where I could've dropped the key but still couldn't find it. It was only when I decided to call it quits and walk on to class that I found the key. It's always like that, huh? When you want it most, it'll hide itself. When you stop looking for it, it'll just appear out of nowhere. Was SO happy when I found it. I nearly wanted to jump up and down, all the way to class. But of course I didn't la. :P

So yeah... that's the whole story on "the cockroach, the roommate, and the lost key." Not as interesting as The Chronicles of Narnia (not even close to it)... but it's still something worth blogging. I mean, how often do you freak yourself out because of a cockroach, then your roommate unknowingly sleep on your bed and later, you lose your key... all within one week?
Not often...

Well, guess that's about it for the time being. Oh yeah, Mervyn lent a CD on some martial arts clip (similiar to the one I uploaded before). I'll upload one up here when I'm free. See la if I can sleep tonight. If I ever get the thursday blues again, I'd prolly upload it. The clips in the CD has some kids and women performing. I-M-P-R-E-S-S-S-I-V-E~! You'll have to see it for yourself...
