Long day, long entry
So today I went to watch Chicken Little with Mima, Jie Huei and Xin Yee. Would've preferred to watch it in Bkt Raja, but couldn't get to book tickets so settled for Sunway Pyramid. Guess what? We lost our way there. I was supposed to turn right after the cable bridge on Federal... I pulak turned left. *paiseh*
In the end, we were late to collect the tickets I booked earlier for the 11am show. Luckily there's the 1130am slot. *phew* Strolled around before we entered the cinema. Mima got some prezzies for friends, Xin Yee got herself a small lil handbag thingy, Jie Huei and her obsession for butterflies.. got herself a butterfly-patterned bagpack and I.... obviously got nothing la. I mean, I've never been the shopping kinda person...
Anyway, Chicken Little was quite an entertaining show, but it's too short a movie la. Slightly over an hour only. Wished it was longer. All the things happened so fast. One thing led to another and before we knew it, it's all over. And the ending, a bit the simple. No matter, Chicken Little is still cute. ^_^
After the movie, we went to Memory Lane and spent almost an hour there. Mima and Xin Yee were choosing cards, Jie Huei and I were walking around. I happened to come across this cute lil teddy bear which is the same teddy belonging to the comic character Garfield, on display. It was ADORABLE~! And Mima agreed too. It's more of a Christmas gift 'cos the bear a.k.a Pooky wears the Santa hat thingy. The eyes were some sort like Eeyore's. Considerably big, black and blur-looking. In short, it was cute la. But since I bought Eeyore yesterday and Pooky was expensive, I didn't buy it.
Left the place after they paid their stuffs and headed on to Pizza Hut for lunch. When we arrived at the place, it was already 2pm. By the time food was served and we finished eating, it was almost 3pm. Then Mima excused herself for awhile. After she came back, we went to hunt for some hair accesories for teacher. I, being obviously the one with LEAST knowledge on these kinda stuffs so followed them around while the picked the items. When we left Pyramid, it was almost 330pm.
We were obviously late already. Told teacher will be there about 3pm. The traffic on the way out of Pyramid was no help either. In the end, we reached teacher's place at slightly past 4pm. See, Mima, Jie Huei together Xin Yee wanted to bake some cake and cookies for teacher for her birthday. They asked me if I was interested in going and I said ok. And I figured since we were going together, might as well go watch Chicken Little before that. Would've asked Eve to come along had she not gone to China on holiday...
So anyway, we went there and Mima was SO taken in by their latest TV set. Mima and I were even joking on "taking care" of the house (by watching tonight's match between MU and Chelsea on their widescreen plasma TV) while sir and teacher are away for dinner tonight :p Mima always gets caught by teacher when she starts whispering to any of us about certain stuffs and when asked to explain herself, she'll get all Mima-ish. It was real funny la... the way she tries to explain but not wanting to explain herself :p
We left teacher's place close to 6pm. Dropped Mima off last at Klang Club. When I reached home, she gave me a call and said she left a bag in the car. And it was for me~! Belated birthday prezzie. That was the reason why Mima excused herself after lunch. Guess what it is?? POOKY~! Arigato gozaimasu, Mima~! Next time I really must zip my mouth whenever I find something cute, something I like or something I plan to get.
Last time, I said I wanted to get a new dobok, the uni gang got me one for my birthday... without even me realizing. I mean, can you imagine? They didn't know my size so Ling opened the wardrobe and got the pants and measured the length of it, when I was sleeping, so they won't get me the wrong size~! Then now just because I said Pooky was cute, Mima got me Pooky. Must shut my mouth in future. Don't get me wrong, I like the prezzies. But I think there's no need to spend that kinda money ma.
Alrighty, that's about it for now. Another 40 mins and the match will begin. I'm hoping against all odds that MU will win. But let's face the fact la... Chelsea's too strong a team, even for MU. For all I know, I may get so heartache that I'll watch the first half only and then sleep. After all, I didn't get much sleep yesterday. Aunt, Uncle and cousins came over to put a night at my place. Not enough place to sleep, so Mum, Dad, Jo ended up sleeping on the sofa(s) while I slept on the sleeping bag... with a teeny, weeny pillow O_o
