Happy Birthday, Max~
Max's turning 9 tomorrow. That's why when I went for my movie marathon this evening in Juscp, I bought him a new dish and those meat chunks for him tmr. He LOVES meat chunks. But it's kinda expensive (at least more expensive than the dog biscuits he eats everyday), so we seldom buy those meat chunks for him. Since it's his big day tmr, it's a treat :D
Promised to bring my sister to watch Narnia and I wanted to watch Perhaps Love. So, booked the tickets yesterday and watched both movies on the same day. Practically spent the whole day there. But I did go over to Lee Sue Ann's place to pass her VERY BELATED birthday gift before that. Jealous ar... she's getting thinner and thinner and I'm getting fatter and fatter. So much fatter that I can't find a suitable jeans for CNY. Sighhh...
Anyway, spent about half an hour at Sue Ann's place before leaving for Jusco. The place was packed~! Lucky thing we booked the tickets much earlier. Caught the 1140am slot of "Perhaps Love." The show lasted about 2 hours. Honestly speaking, was kinda disappointed with the movie lor. The cinematography of the parts where the whole group sang was kinda bad. Moved too fast and were too close. Then, there were too many different scenes. One was present, another was 10 years back and the last one was the movie that they were producing. They just "swing" in and out of all 3 scenes... sometimes it's hard to tell which is which. And I don't really get the ending. It's like there's no ending. Dangling.
But the songs were nice~! All of it~! Plan to get the OST. So yeah, that was pretty much about Perhaps Love. On our way to lunch, we bumped into Xin Yee. Whilst having lunch, I saw Gan Siew Siew -______-" I think I did la. Couldn't recognise her. Told my sister and then she noticed her as well and she told me Siew Siew keeps staring at our place. I main ignore only. Call me a snob la. I don't care. I just cannot tahan her. That's it. Full stop.
At 350pm, we went into TGV again. This time, for Narnia. It was quite nice. Loved to graphics and all, though the plot was kinda predictable. My sis and I could've enjoyed it more had the small lil boy sitting next to us didn't run about. See, it's stupid I tell you. The mother was sitting next to my sis. The boy had a seat on his own. He refused to sit there. Insisted on sitting on his mother's lap. Ok, fine. But he didn't sit still. He tried to grab my sis's packet of Twisties a few times even though he already had a packet to himself.
Then, he started running about, making noise, swinging his hanky here and there, stepping on my sis's toe, crawling under her legs, etc etc. I offered to change place but my sis said it was fine. I didnt' know he crawled under her legs and tried to reach for her Twisties. Had I known, I tell you, I would've switched place with her... played "tug of war" with him over the Twisties, extend my legs so he won't run over to my area, give him a hard, stern stare for making noise and grab him if he ever crawls under the leg. The kid needs a hard spanking.
But my sister wasn't the only victim. I think the person sitting a row below us was more pitiful. The boy kicked his feet at the seat and as he walked/run along the row, he pulled the seats back, he swing his arms over the row of seats in front... I would've expected the girl sitting in front to make noise, but she didnt'. She was VERY patient. Salute her. But I think a bit the stupid. :p
Seriously, what's with kids these days? Sheeeeshhhhh....
