An outing with Fabian
Fabian's a 6 year old boy, son of my piano teacher's. Also, my mum's godson. Many months back, I can't remember how it came about, but I was to bring Fabian along with my sis and Sze Huey out. But on the day that I was supposed to bring them out, I fell sick. So, it was postponed till yesterday.
So, at slightly past 10am, I drove my sis and I out to fetch Sze Huey and we headed on to teacher's house. At first, Fabian was rather reluctant to go out (I suppose he has never went out with anyone without his mum). After some talking, he went into the car with the maid.. and was pretty quiet as we started our journey to 1Utama.
It wasn't until Sze Huey took out her digicam that he got all hyperactive. He got SO excited when he learnt that video shots could be taken and pestered Sze Huey to take a few vids of him. He was so hyperactive that his shoe (whose sole was already a bit torn or "opened") was pretty much "unusable" (i dunno if that words exists *paiseh). The shoe had quite a big "crocodile mouth."
We reached 1Utama area at about 1130am due to heavy traffic along LDP highway and I missed the turn to 1U. Had to make a big U-turn back. Anyway, we manage to find a parking lot and walked around hunting for shoe shops. Went into Jusco and headed to the kid's department. We almost spent ONE hour just to get him a new pair of shoe. Why? First, we got a few shoes to let him try on. Most of them weren't of his size. Whilst hunting for other pairs, he didn't sit still. Then, when he tried on a few fitting pairs, wanted him to walk a bit to see if it's comfortable, he wanted to run around the place. *faints* Manage to get hold of him, though. *phew*
After that, we went to KFC for lunch. Even at the table he was hyperactive. If I remembered correctly, he didn't want to finish his chicken. But when Sze Huey took out the camera and started video-ing him, wah-lau... bukan main cepat he finish his chicken. He was so into it that when he ate the bun and drink his soft drink, he pestered Sze Huey to video shoot it. Wonder why he's so amused with seeing himself on video. :p
Before we left, Fabian said he wanted to go to the other side of 1U 'cos from the window, he could see the other building. I can't remember if it was immediately after that that Sze Huey jokingly mentioned about a "2 Utama." He must have overheard it and told me he wanted to go to "2 utama." -___-" When I brought him back to the new wing and told him that the new wing was the place he pointed at just now, he didn't believe. And he almost cried, mind you.
After much persuasion, told him he could lead us to wherever he wants, he was ok. But after like 5 mins walk, he didn't know where to head to, I suggested to bring him to Pets Wonderland to see dogs. So off we went to Pets Wonderland. Spent quite some time there too. Fabian bombarded me with SO many questions. Eg:
How come the spider is so small?
Why cannot see the spider's eyes wan?
How come there are eyes on the peacock's tail?
What bird is this? What bird is that?
I wanna see python. Why here got no python? Where can I see a python? How long is the python?
It went on and on and on till one point, I got so tired of answering that I either answer, "why the place is small? 'cos the place's not big" ... or "I don't know"... or last resort, "ask Kristine (Sze Huey) jie jie" :P
Ohh.. forgot to mention that whilst walking around, he held his maid's hand and my hand. And he went hopping and jumping. Either that, or he'll try to walk fast. Bottomline, he's too energetic~! Haha.. so energetic that he almost pushed Sze Huey down once. I think throughout the whole outing, Sze Huey was the ultimate victim. Not only was she pushed... but on the way back to Klang, he insisted on more video shoots, climbed on top of her, pushed her, kicked her, punched her as he tries to get a better look at the video shoots from the camera she was holding. Maybe there's more to that, I dunno. I was driving and that was what my sister told me. Kesian... :p
